The page on Windows support says you have to have Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate of Windows 7 in order to use V6R1M0 or 7.1 of Access. See more information at this link -
On that page is a link to an informational APAR regarding Windows 7 support that can be found directly at -
The info APAR has important information about installation and configuration - I believe it is necessary that you read it and follow its instructions, otherwise things won't work.

Thanks to you all.
Bottom line, as I understand, is to get V6R1 or V7 iSeries Access for Windows.
(I have not Windows 7 pro, and it seems to be too hard)

Thanks for the clarification - did not want to mislead anyone, just
didn't remember.

I have V5R2 and V5R4 iSeries Acccess for Windows.
How can I download iSeries Access suitable for Windows 7 64-bit?
You can't. You'll need a system that's covered by software
maintenance, and then order an IBM i Access 7.1 CD.
As John stated, the earliest compatible release is V6R1. But even that
is not back-compatible with V5R2 on the OS side.
Vern's statement, that the service packs give you the full product, is
not correct.
